We have recently come across several examples of fake Sandoz bronze rabbits. These are poor quality re-molds of the cute bunnies, known as "Lapin Bijou" taken from original Susse Frères casts. They lack the fine detail, even surface and patina of original casts and are worth little more than the cost of the material. Serious collectors will pay in excess of € 2000 for original examples.
