Other infor-   Tony Laverick has his roots in Staffordshire, where many of Englands traditional
mation:        potteries are established. He takes much of his inspiration from the art pottery
               of late Victorian and Edwardian England, alongside comparable work in France.
               His bowls and vases possess many of the same iridescent qualities, but are informed
               too by modern abstraction in painting and sculpture, from Malevich to Brancusi,
               as well as his own sharp eye.
